Gift of Sports - Nishohi Charity Program

WHAT IS “GIFT OF SPORTS”?

Most of us take sports for granted. An activity that some do to become an Olympics champion, win a local championship, make friends or just to release stress. Beside physical benefits, sports teach important values such as respect and discipline.

Unfortunately, for many people across the world, access to sports is not an easy thing. Whether it is because you risk your life training in a country at war, or because of a physical handicap or mental disease, many people are not able to practice sports and fulfill their dreams of competitions.

At Nishohi, we believe that sports should be accessible to everyone. We also believe that no matter how big or small your contribution is, whenever you can help, you should. This is the idea behind GIFT OF SPORTS. Every time you make a purchase on Nishohi, you have the option to add a donation to any of the organizations we support.

Donation Checkout Screen

Look out for the "Donation" field in your cart or when you checkout.

Our Promises

OUR PROMISES:

  • We promise to give 100% of your donation. We will cover all administrative fees related to currency exchange, international bank transfer fees or anything else. As a result, any amount makes a difference, no matter how small.

  • We promise to match your donation, up to 10USD (or equivalent) for each order that you place. For example:
    - If you donate 1$, Nishohi will add 1$ too and your chosen organization receives 2$.
    - If you donate 20$, Nishohi adds 10$ and your donation becomes 30$.
We will do that for every order for which you add a donation. It is as simple as this, and that's how it should be.

  • We also commit to transparency. We will regularly publish here the amount of donations received and given. This way, you can see what we do and what impact you have made.

TAX BENEFITS

Let us be clear, Nishohi is not a registered foundation or an NPO. We are only a facilitator and partner of the organizations we have chosen to support. As a result, we are not in a position to issue official receipts that will allow you to get tax benefits in your country. You will see your donation on the invoice we send you after you place an order, but that will not be enough for you to get tax benefits.

OTHER WAYS TO DONATE

If you wish to donate directly to the organizations, or through Nishohi but without purchasing anything from our store, that is absolutely possible. Please let us know, and we will be happy to facilitate your donation.

WHO DO WE SUPPORT ?

Now that we are done with the details of how the program works, let us introduce the two organizations that we have chosen for our GIFT OF SPORTS program.

UKRAINIAN GYMNASTICS FEDERATION

Ukraine Gymnastics Federation Logo

As an official sponsor of the Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation, we are in direct and regular contact with the national team coaches and manager. We know how hard the conditions are for them to live, train and compete. As their sponsor, we wanted to allow our customers to help them too. All the donations raised will be used to help the national teams of Rhythmic Gymnastics, both juniors and seniors. The needs are endless: apparatus, heating equipment, generators for light, transportation to competition, but also more basic needs such as food and first necessity goods. Many athletes, staff and their families are in a very unstable situation so every dollar raised helps and makes a difference.

Together, let's help Team Ukraine be the best it can be!

SPECIAL OLYMPICS
