KUSAKURA - Embroidery for judo and karate belts

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Embroideries will be done by Kasukura directly, in their factory in Japan. NISHOHI will not use any other third-party company for this service.
• Standard embroidery will take a few days to be completed but blind stitch embroidery can take up to 3 weeks. If you add embroidery to your order, we will delay the shipping of your entire order until the embroidered belt is delivered to us.
• Embroidered belts cannot be returned or refunded, unless there is a manufacturing defect.
• The embroidery is charged per letter/character, please make sure to select the right amount of letters when placing the order. In case there is any difference between the text entered and the number of characters ordered, we will contact you.

SELECT THE PLACEMENT

• You can choose to have the embroidery above the Kusakura brand logo (SIDE #1) or on the opposite side (SIDE #2) which is either empty or has the IJF logo. If you want embroidery on both sides of the belt, please order them separately.
• By default, belt embroidery will be vertical.

SELECT THE EMBROIDERY TYPE

• a STANDARD embroidery is stitched on an already-made belt, hence it is visible from the back of the belt (strikethrough).
• a BLIND STITCH embroidery is done on the outer surface before manufacturing the belt and before adding the stitching lines on the belt. This means that these stitches are sewn onto and through the embroidery, leading to very resistant and durable embroideries, invisible on the reverse side of the belt. However please note that the belt stitching lines WILL BE VISIBLE on the embroidery as they will cover it. Please see the example in the picture.
• If you want a clean back side of the belt, please choose a blind stitch embroidery. If you do not want the stitching lines on top of the embroidery, please choose the standard embroidery.
• Please note that due to their thickness, only blind stitch embroidery can be chosen for the JOGS belts.

CHOOSE THE FONT

• Japanese kanji, hiragana/katakana, and alphabetical letters can be ordered.
• BLOCK or CURSIVE font can be chosen for alphabetical letters only.

CHOOSE THE COLOR

• A choice of 24 thread colors are available. In case the chosen color is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you and offer some alternative options.

TEXT

• Choosing short text is advised, but if you wish to have a text over 8 characters, please contact us before placing the order.
• If you want to translate your name to Japanese characters, please contact us prior to ordering, and we will give you some options as several writings could be possible.
