Founded in 1983 by Umberto Pastorelli, Pastorelli Sport embarked on its rhythmic gymnastics journey, gaining recognition at various national competitions across Italy. The company started internal production with the Classico half shoes model, followed by gymnastics ropes, solidifying Pastorelli's presence in the competition field.

Post Umberto's passing in 1998, his son Giuseppe, along with his mother and sisters, evolved Pastorelli Sport from a family business into a global leader in rhythmic and artistic gymnastics.

The brand, now a FIG official partner, boasts a wholly internal production of gymnastics equipment, accessories, and sportswear. Pastorelli's manufacturing milestones include the creation of the Rodeo hoop in 2000, widely used by national teams and in the Olympics, and the development of the High Vision glitter ball in 2008.

In 2005, the company expanded its portfolio to include internally produced leotards for gymnastics, incorporating innovative digital techniques for design. By 2006, Pastorelli received the first of its 21 FIG certifications for Rhythmic Gymnastics equipment, including the unique carpet kit.

Reflecting its continuous growth, Pastorelli Sport transitioned to an S.R.L. company in 2012, focusing on sports clothing for gymnastics and fitness. In 2016, a significant partnership with the Asian Gymnastics Federation expanded the brand's reach across Asia. In 2022, the company introduced the Arché shaded ribbons, utilizing advanced technology to produce a beautiful chromatic effect.
